We’re asking Pages like yours to confirm by Sep 30 that they aren’t meant for children under 13.
Confirm your Page isn't meant for children under 13 years old.
If you saw this message on top of your page, you are not alone.
And it’s not just “pages like yours” it’s almost every page on Facebook if i am not mistaken.
This message started appearing today 14th of February 2025.
On different times of the day for Facebook page owners/managers.
And it’s only appearing on the desktop but not the app,
as I have only seen it on the desktop and same thing others reported who were questioning about that same message.
This is mostly due to child data protection requirements like the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act ( COPPA )
When you click confirm the you get this pop up message and the 2 options you have is to either confirm or choose to be remined later.

The images reads..
“We need you to confirm details about your Page
Meta doesn’t allow Pages that are meant for children under 13.
since our terms indicate that children this age aren’t allowed on our technologies.
We’re asking Pages like yours to confirm that they’re not meant for children.
What you need to do next

children under 13.
If you don’t confirm by Sep 30, people won’t be able to see your
content.
Need more guidance?
Find out how to determine if your Page is for children, and see what steps you can take if so.
If you click confirm a small popup in the down left says confirmed, however the message doesn’t go anywhere.
And “remind me later” doesn’t do anything.
Very helpful Facebook.

However, if you didn’t confirm that your page isn’t intended to create content for children under 13 years old your content won’t be seen.
What does "your content won't be seen" mean ?
Not sure if this means your page reach will be zero, or even if someone visited your page directly they will still not be able to see images/videos you posted.
And what about the old posts that’s already shared before this time will it all be blurred or can’t be seen as well ?
What should we do about it ?
Since we don’t have that many options, whether you confirm or ignore the message nothing changes anyway.
We will wait until Facebook announces or provides us with some helpful information, or even fixes this sticky alert message during the coming 7 months.
So, if you saw this message and wondering what you should do, don’t worry about it, and you are not the only one seeing this, it’s on almost all pages.

Everyone is questioning the same thing basically,
so let’s keep an eye on it, hopefully someone may report something new.
I am wondering if we will start seeing that same or similar message on Instagram soon ?
